| Penn Lyon homes are sold exclusively through independent builders in your area. Your independent modular home builder has agreed to adhere to Penn Lyon Homes strict guidelines for site preparation, foundation construction and assembly of Penn Lyon building modules. Penn Lyon cannot supervise final finish process of your home. This is the sole responsibility of your builder.
When you build a Penn Lyon Modular home, your independent Penn Lyon builder will handle all the details. Your independent Penn Lyon builder will coordinate the site work and construction of your foundation. In addition, your builder will work with you to select the specifications and options for your new Penn Lyon home. The builder will also work directly with Penn Lyon's design team to create the production drawings and engineered plans necessary to build your new home. The builder will then purchase the completed modules from Penn Lyon Homes.
A licensed Penn Lyon transportation professional will bring the modules to your site. Upon delivery, each module may be as much as 95% complete, including floor-coverings, kitchen cabinets, exterior and interior doors, siding, etc. Each module of your new home is precisely set into position and anchored onto your prepared foundation by the certified Penn Lyon set crew. Whether your home is two modules or six, the Penn Lyon set crew assures your home is weather tight at the end of the day.
Once the modules have been set on your foundation, it is your independent builders responsibility to complete the finish work. Of course, the style of the home, complexity of design and the options selected by you and your builder will affect the total amount of finish work that your independent builder must complete.
Upon completion of your new Penn Lyon home, you will feel comfortable knowing your independent builder provides you with a one-year structural warranty. In addition, Penn Lyon Homes provides a full ten-year manufacturer's structural warranty, assuring your investment is well protected.
