| 1. Are Penn Lyon Modular Homes different from other homes? |
Penn Lyon Homes are different because they are built in the controlled environment of a modern facility. Modular construction includes more materials, increased energy efficiencies, and quality of construction.
|
| 2. Do Penn Lyon Homes meet standard building codes? |
Yes, all Penn Lyon Homes meet or exceed all state building codes. In addition to our own full-time quality control managers, each Penn Lyon home is also inspected by an independent state-licensed agency to ensure that construction exceeds state codes. This independent third party seal of approval appears on each home that leaves our plant.
|
| 3. Are Penn Lyon homes energy efficient? |
| Every Penn Lyon home is constructed to be eligible to receive the Energy Star label that certifies energy efficiency. Our homes regularly exceed the standards put in place by Energy Star, a division of the Environmental Protection Agency. |
| 4. Does my Penn Lyon Home come with a guarantee or warranty? |
| Absolutely. Every Penn Lyon Home comes with a full one-year parts and labor warranty and a full ten-year warranty on the structure. All product warranties such as appliances, shingles and siding are covered by the respective manufacturer. |
